Fall/Winter 2006 Release – Sk8 Hi and Era

This is also a collab with a man named Ari Marcopoulos. Ari began documenting lots of skaters that Supreme supported. So, Supreme decided to collab with him, and showcase his work. The shoes feature images of the skaters that Ari documented! The Sk8-Hi was available in 3 color-ways (Brown/Purple, White/Red and Black/Blue). The Era was available in 3 color-ways (Purple, White and Black). Both models are pretty rare, but when they do pop up for sale, they’re typically a fair price.

Spring/Summer 2008 Supreme and Vans Release – Half Cab and Chukka

These shoes feature a very simple design for this collab, which Supreme has also become known for. The Chukka model is available in 4 color-ways (Black, Blue, Cream and Red). These shoes aren’t very hyped, but once again just because of their rarity, you’ll likely have to pay a premium if you find a pair.

How to Legit Check:
There seems to only be one batch of fakes made for the Era’s and the Sk8-His, and none of the Chukka.

For the Era, and Sk8-Hi, the easiest way to legit check either pair is by looking at the colors on the shoe, and the flower placement. On fakes, the colors are less vibrant, and the flower design has almost a faded effect.

Also, fakes do come with boxes; watch out for a crushed box, with a brand new pair of these. It could mean nothing, but it could also mean they’re fakes from China. This is just something to take note of.

How to Legit Check:
It’s fairly easy to legit check fakes of these Supreme x Vans shoes.

The best giveaway is that the back heels on fakes say “off the wall” but don’t have the Supreme logo on it, while authentic pairs have the Supreme logo after “off the wall”.

Another way to tell is that on the heel portion of the shoes, the playboy all-over print has a weird cut off effect on fakes, where the print only has 2 or 3 logos on the back heel, and the rest is blank.

Spring/Summer 2016 Supreme and Vans Release – Motion Logo Vans Era

They were available in 4 color-ways (Red, White, Blue and Black). They feature a canvas upper and leather lining. For this collab, Supreme used their classic motion logo design, and put it on the sole of the Vans Era. These shoes are one of the more hyped Vans x Supreme shoes, but aren’t very rare.

How to Legit Check:
There are two batches of fakes, which were made for this shoe.

The 1st batch is very easy to legit check. On the shoes sole where it has the motion logo, it only has one logo near the middle, and near the front they just have an S. While on authentic shoes, they have a logo in the middle, but in the front you can see the first 3 letters of the motion logo where the fakes just have an S.

For the second batch of fakes created, they’re even easier to legit check! This batch has a better motion logo, but doesn’t even have the Supreme logo under the tongue, or on the heel tab in the Vans logo.

2nd Spring/Summer 2016 Supreme and Vans Release – Iridescent Old Skool Vans

This Supreme x Vans shoe features a cotton boucle upper with an iridescent side strip and leather lining. They were available in 4 color-ways (Blue, Coral, Black and White). These shoes aren’t super hyped.

[ngg_images source=”galleries” container_ids=”63″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow” gallery_width=”600″ gallery_height=”400″ cycle_effect=”fade” cycle_interval=”10″ show_thumbnail_link=”1″ thumbnail_link_text=”[Show thumbnails]” slug=”Vans-Spring-Summer-2012-2″ order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]Beware fakes do exist of this piece!

How to Legit Check:
First, the color of the shoes are a shade off, and it’s noticeable.

Another easy sign that they’re fake is that on the back heel there’s no Supreme logo in the vans logo, which is how they should be on an authentic pair.

Fall/Winter 2016 Supreme and Vans Release – Checker Logo Sk8-Hi Pro and Checker Logo Authentic Pro

Both models were available in 3 color-ways (Blue Checkered, Red Checkered and Black Checkered). The Sk8-Hi Pro features a premium suede and canvas upper with printed pattern, leather and vulcanized outsole. The Authentic Pro features a canvas upper with printed pattern and vulcanized outsole. Both of these shoes have a good amount of hype as with most Vans checkerboard print lately.

How to Legit Check:
Fakes of both of these Supreme x Vans shoes are surprisingly decent.

What you’re going to want to look for is the font on the “Supreme” text in the checkerboard print. The font on fake pairs is very noticeably thin, while on authentic pairs the font is much more thick and clear.
