If you’re in the market to cop a Supreme abstract tee, you should be aware that fakes have been made of this piece. And often people will try and sell less hyped fake pieces as real pieces, because they figure most people won’t think to much into purchasing a cheaper priced piece. So I’ll be going over exactly how to legit check one of these tees, so you can avoid getting scammed, and taking the L.
Fake Supreme Abstract Tee Flaws

- Graphic Issues
- Tag
Colors Off Flaw:
This is one of the most noticeable flaws when legit checking one of these tees. For this flaw, we will be looking at the colors on the graphic of the tee. Starting off, the red color that makes up the right part of the face is much to dark on the fake tees. On the real tee, it should be a bright red color, while on the fake it’s very dark, and almost a maroon color. Moving on to the yellow color that makes up the left side of the face, the fake tee has a very vibrant yellow color. While on the real piece, the yellow color should be much more dull of a color/shade. Another easy one to look at is the purple color that makes up the triangle in the lower left of the graphic. On the fake tees, the purple color is much darker than it should be. It should be a much brighter, violet color, on the authentic piece. You should have no problem seeing the color difference when you see the fake and the real up next to each other.

Graphic Issues Flaw:
For this flaw we will be looking at a few smaller things that the replica makers couldn’t get spot on with the real piece. Starting off looking at the yellow color on the left side of the face. There should be small, slightly visible little dots on all over the yellow side of the face on the real piece. But on the fake, the dots are to clear, and there’s a big portion above the nose which doesn’t have any of the small dots at all, but it should on the real piece. For the next graphic issue, we will be looking at the teal color on the top left portion of the graphic. The fake piece has to many black strokes (black lines) going through the teal color. On the authentic piece there should be a very small amount of black strokes, but way less than the fake pieces have. For this last one, we will be looking above the purple color, there are 5 round strokes between the teal and black color, and under the second one, there should be a dot of the same teal color that’s used above it. All of the real tees have this small teal circle, but the fake tees don’t have it.

Tag Flaw:
For this flaw we will obviously be looking at the Supreme tag inside of the neck. The fake pieces have a horrible tag, and you should have no problem recognizing that the tag is fake if you’ve ever seem a Supreme tag before. The color is VERY off, and the font of everything on the tag is also VERY off. Not to much more to say about this flaw.
