This morning, Supreme officially announced a collection with British video artist, Chris Cunningham. Chris Cunningham is best known for his filmmaking, photography, visual effects, and music production. Some of his most notable productions include Windowlicker and, Come To Daddy by British electronic musician Aphex Twin. This Supreme x Chris Cunningham capsule collection includes a hooded sweatshirt, and two graphic t-shirts.
The collection is inspired by Cunningham’s 2005 short film/music video in collaboration with Aphex Twin titled Rubber Johnny. It’s a pretty wild video shot in night vision, and definitely worth a look if you’re interested to see where Supreme got the inspiration for the pieces in this collection!
These pieces are set to release online, and in-store in NYC, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London, and Paris locations this Thursday November 8th. Japan will release a couple days later as usual, on November 10th. You can find the full drop list for this week, here!
