The Supreme taped seam jacket released for Supreme’s spring/summer 2017 season, and if you’re looking to cop one of these jackets, you should be aware that their are fakes out there, and likely some on the resell market. Today, I’ll be teaching you guys how to legit check one of these jackets, so you can avoid getting scammed and taking an L. So let’s get into it.
Fake Supreme Taped Seam Jacket Flaws:
- Made in Bangladesh Tag
- Front Supreme Logo Placement
- Back Supreme Logo Placement
Made in Bangladesh Tag Flaw:
For this flaw we will be looking at the inside neck Supreme tag. The authentic Supreme taped seam jacket should have “Made in China” on the tag, but on some fake versions of this jacket it says “Made in Bangladesh”. There is a batch of fakes with the made in Bangladesh tag fixed, but on that batch the “Made in China” font is not bolded, and it should be bolded on the authentic jacket.
Here are some example pictures:
Front Supreme Logo Placement Flaw:
For this flaw we will be looking at the Supreme logo on the front of the jacket, to the left of the upper chest pocket zipper. On the fake jackets, the Supreme logo is placed to far to the right, and not close enough to the zipper. It should be much closer on the authentic jacket, I’m sure you’ll be able to see it in the picture.
Here’s an example picture:
Back Supreme Logo Placement Flaw:
For this flaw, we will be looking at the big Supreme logo on the bottom of the back of the jacket. On the fake jackets, the Supreme text is not as wide as it should be. There’s a good amount to much extra space on both sides of the Supreme text. The text on the authentic jacket should almost take up the whole width of the back of the jacket.

Hope this helped you guys legit check a Supreme Taped Seam Jacket!
