So you’re in the market to cop a Supreme studded denim trucker jacket, but you want to make sure it’s an authentic piece from Supreme. Starting off, beware, their are fakes of these jackets out there, and I’m sure they’ve made their way to the market. Today I’ll be teaching you guys how to legit check a Supreme studded denim trucker jacket!
Fake Supreme Studded Denim Trucker Jacket Flaws:
- Jacket Color
- Number of Studs
Jacket Color Flaw:
This flaw is exactly how it sounds, the colors are off on the fake versions of this jacket. For the blue color way the blue is much to light of a denim color, while on an authentic blue Supreme denim studded denim trucker jacket the blue should be a noticeably darker blue color. As far as the black color way goes, the colors a little more spot on, but still not perfect. The real jacket has sort of a washed black denim look to it, while the fake just looks like a straight black. The black can be a little hard to legit check solely based off of the color, but the next flaw will be a tell tale sign of authentic or fake.

Number of Studs Flaw:
For this flaw, we will be looking at the number of the studs placed all over the jacket. Each section of studs should have a certain number of studs placed there, and it’s the same number in each place on the authentic jackets. But the fakes have a different number of studs placed in each section, which makes legit checking these jackets very easy, if you can count of course. The number of studs going horizontally directly above the pocket should be 12 studs, while on the fake jackets there’s only 10 studs there.
Here’s an example picture:
The number of studs going vertically from the bottom of the jacket up to the pocket also has the wrong number of studs. On the authentic jacket their should be 22 studs going up to the pocket, while on the fakes their are only 20 studs going up.

Hope this helped you guys legit check a Supreme studded denim trucker jacket!
