Is Supreme Resell Really Still Profitable? Supreme Resell 101

If you’re familiar with the street-wear clothing brand Supreme, you’ll know that some pieces can be worth a lot more money than the original retail price once they’re completely sold out. But times have definitely changed a lot in the past couple of years as far as what resells and what will be a brick item, which is an item you will lose money on after you buy it. For example a couple of years ago Supreme camp caps would almost always be worth double the retail price right after they sellout. But nowadays 99% of these camp caps are bricks and reselling for under the original retail price. And it’s definitely not just the camps, as a lot of pieces lately have been bricking besides some key items which will always have an insane amount of hype and resell value around them.

Even a few years ago there were a good amount of people making a pretty decent income off of just reselling Supreme. Another big factor which has affected Supreme resell was when Supreme stopped just letting people camp outside of their physical store locations and implemented their queuing system. If you’re not familiar with the current Supreme queuing system, you basically have to sign up online every week just for a chance to get a decent spot in line for a chance to cop what you’re going for. And even copping Supreme online has gotten ten times harder with Supreme giving out card declines for a good amount of people checking out manually. I’m sure their are still some people out there living off of Supreme resell but as things change, you’ve got to get innovative and find away around things.

For example Supreme backdoor, which if you’re not familiar is when people have a connection with someone who works at Supreme and make a deal to buy quantity of Supreme items, is a very real thing and it happens more than you think. Obviously this is a very hard route to make a connection like that and then you’d also need a good amount of money to purchase mass quantity of something.

Honestly if you’re looking to get into reselling Supreme these days, first off you NEED to know Supreme. You need to know what pieces everyone is hyped up on and will pay resell price on because they NEED that item in their collection. It’s a lot easier if you’re genuinely into Supreme to know what’s hot because you want it yourself. And past knowing Supreme their are only so many things you can do to increase your luck copping hyped items, because at the end of the day a lot of getting a good spot in line at a physical store or copping an item online has to do with solely luck. Getting a Supreme bot is one of the only ways to increase your chances at copping online, besides simple things like having a solid internet connection and already having your information saved on the Supreme webstore.

Some examples of things to look out for when you’re looking for high resell value would be unique accessories (sometimes the really expensive accessories can be very profitable), box logos of course will always hold their value until Supreme literally releases a million of them, motion logos, and honestly any piece with a big box logo plastered on it somewhere will typically have resell value. It’s always smart to check Instagram, Reddit, and Facebook groups to see what everyone’s talking about to know which piece is super hyped up.

Their are definitely some people living off of Supreme resell but it’s a full time hustle that takes a lot of fighting around the systems, and is definitely harder than your average minimum wage job.
