If you’re in the market to pickup a Supreme quilted satin varsity jacket, you should know that their are fakes of these jackets out there. All of the fake versions made of this jacket aren’t very good quality, or super accurate to the authentic, so they should be pretty easy to legit check if you’re familiar with Supreme. So let’s get into it.
Fake Supreme Quilted Satin Varsity Jacket Flaws:
- Wrong Tag
- “Supreme” Text Spacing/Thickness
- Stripes on Sleeves
Wrong Tag Flaw:
This flaw is a very easy way to legit check these jackets, as the tag is completely wrong on the fake version. The tag should be stitched down all around it like a patch on an authentic jacket, but on the fakes it’s almost just a piece of fabric stitched down on 2 sides of it. Another flaw with the tag is that the smaller size tag should be below the Supreme patch tag, while on the fake the smaller size tag is on the right side of the Supreme patch tag.

“Supreme” Text Spacing/Thickness Flaw:
This flaw is very easy to see if you have a real jacket to compare it to. For this flaw we will be looking at the “Supreme” text that goes across the front of the jacket. On the fakes the text will have to much space between each letter, while on the authentic jacket the letters should be pretty close together. The lettering on the fakes also is noticeably to thin compared to the thickness of the letters on the authentic jacket.

Stripes on Sleeves Flaw:
For this flaw we will be looking at the stripes where the shoulder meets the arm. The fake jacket has way to thick of the “white black white” pattern, each of the stripes should be fairly thin on the real jackets. The stripes on the authentic also have more of a curve to them than the thick straighter stripes the fakes have.
