All Supreme Playboy Collabs Ever Released With Legit Check Guides

Supreme has been collaborating with Playboy since 2011; they have made some very sought after pieces together. A good amount of these Supreme Playboy collaboration pieces are reselling for very high prices (older pieces specifically). I’ll be giving a full history of past Supreme Playboy collabs with legit check guides for each respective piece that has had fakes made of it.

There are a few pieces from the collaboration that have been heavily faked, and even have decent fakes made of them. I’ll be thoroughly going over how to legit check the pieces that have been faked, so everyone can avoid getting scammed in the future. Supreme Playboy fakes are all over Ebay, Grailed, etc. and people are getting scammed everyday. The first, and most obvious, thing to look for is if the price looks like it is too good to be true, it likely is. So, let’s get into it!

Spring/Summer 2011 Supreme Playboy Collection

Piece 1: Supreme Playboy Varsity Jacket

How to Legit Check:

Recently, a decent batch of fakes of these jackets came out, and aren’t super easy to legit check unless you really know your stuff.

The first thing worth noting is that these jackets came out in 2011, so it definitely shouldn’t look like a brand new jacket even if it has been sitting in someone’s closet. I’ve seen a good amount of these authentic jackets that have only been worn a few times with yellowing around the collar and the band around the bottom. I’ve also seen a good amount of worn jackets and they often have fading on the logos, sometimes a a good portion of the front logo is completely faded, and you can only see half the logo still.

The first thing to look at on the Playboy logo on the front of the jacket is the little ribbon below the bunny should be very, very close to touching the bottom of the bunny, and sometimes with fading it will even be touching. On fakes of this jacket, the ribbon is slightly too far away from the bunny.

For the other flaw on the front Playboy logo, we will be looking at the lines inside of the bunny. On the authentic bunny logo, you can slightly see black lines going vertically, but on the fake front bunny logo, the vertical lines are much more noticeable, and even makes the logo itself look darker than an authentic should be.

When it comes to the back of the jacket, the fakes are pretty spot on, they just messed up a few things.

First off, the main visible flaw is again, how old the jackets are. When these jackets age, the logos get a yellowish look to them, and the Supreme letters on the back of the jacket tend to sort of shade themselves in unique ways along with wear.

The other notable flaw is the placement of the Supreme text and Playboy logo. On fake jackets, both of the logos will be placed too high up, the Supreme text almost runs along with the middle of the sleeve, while on authentic jackets, the Supreme text should run along the bottom of the sleeve.

How to Legit Check:

Starting off, for the red color way, fakes use a slightly different shade of red. It’s almost more of a burgundy color, while an authentic should be a noticeably brighter red color.

Fakes of the black color way are fairly accurate, as expected with such a simple piece, just the logo screen printed on the front of the coaches jacket. But, the fakes do have a few flaws that are noticeable if you compare them next to a real jacket. Again, these jackets were released in 2011, so they should NOT look brand new, and may even have some fading on the screen printed logos.

Basically, some of the letters are too thick, or not thick enough on fakes, and the spacing of the Playboy logo underneath the Supreme writing is not placed correctly. It can be really hard to see if you don’t have a real jacket to compare it to. Basically, if you were to put a straight edge following the right ear of the bunny, it should go up and through the circle inside of the 1st e in Supreme, while on fakes, the straight edge would go up and to the right of the circle inside the 1st e in Supreme.

How to Legit Check:

Fakes of these keychains are HORRIBLE, and very easy to legit check.

The corner directly above the ribbon is very misshaped on fakes, and to add an even more obvious flaw, the box logo on the back of the keychain is black when it should be red on an authentic keychain.

How to Legit Check:

These shoes are an easy legit check as good fakes haven’t been made of them. Fakes of these shoes lack the Supreme branding on the heel to the side of the Vans Off The Wall logo, which authentics have.

Fakes also only have a few logos on the back of the shoe, while on authentic shoes, there should be more all around the back of the shoe.

How to Legit Check:

These shoes haven’t had good fakes made of them either. You can look for the same flaws as the last shoe.

There is no Supreme branding on the heel tab where it says Vans Off The Wall, and not enough logos going around the backside of the shoe. These shoes are a super easy legit check.

The font is also very off on the Supreme text. It should be way thicker, almost a bold font, on the authentic shoe.

Piece 3: Supreme Playboy Denim Jacket

How to Legit Check:

The biggest flaw with fakes of this jacket is the Playboy bunny logo on the back of the jacket. The bunny itself is very misshaped, and the ribbon below it is very sloppy. This is a very obvious flaw and should make legit checking these jackets very easy.

How to Legit Check:

The main visible flaw on fakes of the pendants is the color of “gold” used. Fakes will be a noticeably more yellow color than the gold should look.

If you did end up copping one of these and aren’t sure on the authenticity, or your not super knowledgable about gold, you could always take it to your local jeweler and get it tested.

How to Legit Check:

Similar to the fake pendant, the color of the “gold” will be the most visible flaw if you’re familiar with how gold looks. It’s too much of a yellow color on the fakes compared to the gold on the real rings.

Another thing worth noting is the horrible quality of the fakes. The deformed bunny often falls off of the rings after minimal wear.

How to Legit Check:

Fakes of these hoodies are very bad, and easy to legit check if you know how to.

For the first flaw, fakes either come with random Chinese lettering for the tags (no Supreme tag at all) or they come with the tag that comes on Supreme t-shirts.

For the next flaw, the Supreme logo on the top of the hood is screen printed on fakes, while it should be embroidered on an authentic piece. The font used on the screen printing on fakes also looks like it says “RPreme” instead of Supreme.

Another flaw worth noting is that on fakes the drawstrings are rope drawstrings, while on an authentic hoodie they should be flat.

Piece 3: Supreme Playboy Sweatpant

How to Legit Check:

Fakes of these sweatpants are decent, and can be hard to legit check if you’re not super familiar with how the authentic one looks.

For the first flaw, we will be looking at the Playboy bunny logos all over the pants. The eye of the bunny is too big on every logo. On the authentic sweatpants, the eye of the bunny will be noticeably smaller than the fakes.

The next flaw is pretty simple. The Supreme tags are way too close on fakes (basically touching), while they should have a little distance between the two tags on an authentic pair.
