An interesting item popped up on a local New York Supreme Facebook group. The banner that hangs outside of the Supreme store in New York was posted for sale in the group. The person who posted it used an account under the name “Zoe Godz”, and reportedly received multiple offers for around $500 for the stolen Supreme New York banner. Looking at the original post to the Facebook group, you can tell how hyped the person who stole the banner was, “Zoe Godz” says “If u haven’t notice its gone its cuz i got it !!!!!!!!”.
Here’s a screenshot of the original Facebook post for the Supreme New York banner:
For those wondering how “Zoe Godz” got away with this heist, they recently put the scaffolding up, so anyone could easily climb up there and take down the banner. It seems like at least once a year somebody takes the banner from a Supreme store. Some people think the Supreme New York banner was possibly taken for vengeance after Supreme and Louis Vuitton announced that the pop up shops for the new collection were cancelled.
Here’s another picture going around of the alleged thief wrapped up in the Supreme New York banner:
A big part of Supreme culture nowadays is what is known as flexing. After “Zoe Godz” heist, this picture of the alleged thief “flexing” the stolen banner popped up on social media.
Here you can see the outside of the New York Supreme store with the banner gone:
Supreme hasn’t made any comments on the stolen banner as of now, but we will see if Supreme wants to take any action against “Zoe Godz” who proudly posted his crime to social media after the heist. Definitely not the smartest criminal we’ve seen, but it might not be worth Supreme’s time to go after “Zoe Godz”.
